they made their homepage load the search.twitter.com page with the search query of "skittles"

so people on twitter can use the word "skittles" and their tweet will appear on skittles.com

their media section goes to youtube
their products page WAS going to wikipedia, but not anymore
friends goes to facebook

Products still does it you mouseover and then click a specific item


And I think this is a horrible idea.

Very bold ... I think it's a too foreward ...

I mean, the friggin' candy links go to wiki ... you got twitter on the home page ...

It's like a web 2.0 portal gateway ...

I don't really like it ... but applaud the uniqueness ...

Twits and wiki fools will destroy the public facing content ...

Twitter is an overhyped piece of shit. There I said it. They have no income, no purpose, and they only exist on their short lived hype in the mainstream media. Just like secondlife before it. Then everyone realized most of what happens in second life is gambling and sex.

This reminds me of the time I sliced my hand open, then poured a handful of sour skittles onto wound. Stupid and painful.

I don't know what the interactive art director is doing, but this doesn't look engaging or anything. Doesn't make me want to be involved or anything. I could say so much more but I'll keep it at that.

I don't really get twitter either but I read that Shaq "twittered" he was eating at a certain restaurant and anyone who was around should come join him. These two guys who followed his feed ended up getting to eat lunch with Shaq himself, that's pretty awesome.
