Skinz.org is no more : (

This message is for all graphic artists, skinners (hahaha ... funny name), designers and the regular joesmoke that enjoys computer art.

It seems that e-Front is in financial troubles, and one of the affected sites is my beloved Skinz.org.

I had a lot of my work there (Wallpapers and ICQ Plus skins), and the site was a good home for them. Deskmod is running strong, has a great design, but its content is nowhere near Skinz's.

I hope the admins (whoever the new ones are), get the site back together.
Looks like we're dealing with the "Internet Crisis, Part I" ... :|

Skinz.org was a nice site but I admit I enjoy the quality of deskmod.com more.

They had some nice pieces.
But by this time I have the links and pages of most of the artists that submit to thoes pages.
Deskmod better keep chugging along.

I was wondering where it went, I tried going to skinz.org and skintacular.com (same thing) last week and it didn't work.

I'm glad Deskmod is still around... Customize.org used to be a good site too but it deteriorated into crap.

Antisocial Virge, I'm glad to see Slashdot picked up on this - I've been following it all weekend and hoping some law enforcement agency or lawyers would pay attention and fry these creeps. Those ICQ logs are mind-boggling. There was a point this weekend where there was a rumor going around (I'm not one of their webmasters, so I can't confirm) that eFront had basically locked out some of the webmasters because they were making public noise about the logs and eFront's contract violations and machinations.

Financial troubles are the least of eFront's problems at this point. :|
