this could turn into a very metro thread, but here goes.

just picked up a bottle of shiseido foaming cleanser (from their men's line) today. had been using a sample for the last week and this stuff is good. you get what you pay for, $20. Text

also picked up a moisturizer from their pureness line.

i've used dove cream cleanser in the past, but that sh!t dries out my face.

biggest problem: large pores and oily skin.

now you go!

I think soap is really good. Water too! Awesome products and they're usually dirty cheap.

i use nivea for men face care daily protective lotion

soap dries out my skin too much and I have dry skin to begin with. It's oil free so doesn't cause zits and says spf15 so i guess that helps somewhat too. It's a little expensive at about 3-5 bucks for 1.7oz tube, lasts me about a month with frequent use.

i also use the nivea face scrub about once/twice a week to get rid of dead skin.

Same skin type as OP - large pores, oily skin. When it comes to washing my face, it seems that almost every product works best when used sparingly. Otherwise, my face gets dried out. If I used too much soap/cleanser, I put on lotion. The cetaphil lotion from costco seems to work well without being too oily.
