About four to five weeks ago I notice something strange on my stomach, in about a 3-inch circle around by belly button. The area of my skin, directly over my veins, has dark patches which outline where my veins are. My skin is blotchy there. I am in great shape, I exercise seven days a week and eat healthy.
I thought that the patches might be due to sleeping with a heating pad on my stomach, but I haven't used one for about three weeks now and the patches are still there. I switched from Depo-Provera to the pill in mid December (Loestrin 1/20) after a severe reaction to Depo. Before switching to Loestrin I tried Ovucon but I had another reaction to it.
I am wondering if the dark patches and occasional nausea are due to the pill? Do you have any other suggestions on what the reaction might be due to?
