the guard was right about the kid trying to impress his friends.

Most teenagers are stupid because they try to impress their friends.

Wow, I have never seen people so effecient fighting with saktes on...we could have a new form of entertainment. Not as lame as Disney on ice, but not as over the top as WWE....HMMMM WWE in ice?
skating is 2nd nature to those guys.

Once they were on the public sidewalk the "guard" needed to leave them alone, no matter what they did to provoke him. If the skaters decide to sue, they'll win.

really? the security guard never touched the skater until the skater provoked him physically with the skateboard... then went towards security guard and tried to grab him around the neck. not to mention the skater threw the first punch.

sounds like 3 strikes against him.

negative, those kids already off the property, the security guard shouldve went back instead of saying "you're bad kid, you got bad attitude"

those kids should've jump the security guard, he has no business once they off that building

i don't see how the guard did anything wrong / illegal. they were both on a public sidewalk, and the skater chose to intentionally provoke the guard physically. same deal if he used any other object to touch the security guard.

Not that security guards are supposed to be the most professional people on the planet, but he had no business telling the kid "I'm going to break your arm". That was the turning point in the confrontation.
He handled the whole situation poorly and unprofessionally. His job expects him to act like an adult and he acted like an 18 year old skatepunk.
I hope he's applying for jobs at local grocery stores by now.
Congrats to the punk for dropping one on his lips. He desperately needed it.

Someone should introduce that kid to the Pizza shop animal.

At any rate, the video had a staged feel to it. Call me suspicious.

The kid had no business winding the guard up either. He was looking to get the guard to bite. Both were in the wrong but I'd take the guard's side because the kid was being an antagonistic show-off with no respect for anyone. Shame the guy didn't have skills like that guy from the pimp video posted earlier.

My my Amused, you are suspicious :)

It was a accdent with the foot thing, he just wanted to put his foot on the board and maybe slide it back and forth, and it accidently touched the guys feet, very obvious. H e was standing looking down at said skatebaord, not threatening.

No, the kid had no business winding up the guard, but that's what kids do.
The guard is expected to handle the kid in a professional, adult manner. It's his job for crying out loud. The kid is expected to act like a kid. 18 year old boys hanging with their skatepunk buds are supposed to be antagonistic showoffs. It certainly isn't against the law even if it is grating on the nerves.
The kid bumped the guard purposely IMHO and set the fight rolling. The guard should never have been there and certainly should have not been toe to toe with the kid at that point. He failed miserably in every aspect of controlling the situation.
The guy was about as adept at his job as the chick who puts the straws in the bag at McDonalds. He had no business being in the position he was in.
Imagine a State Trooper dealing with a situation the way that tard did.

it doesn't look like an accident. seems he intentionally pressed down and lifted / turned it towards the guard to provoke him (turned it left first to gain momentum, then swirved it to the right), and made contact :)

Well in better shape at least. I would have thought that he'd be able to handle himself better but instead he fought like a little Nancyboy and that fat guard was able to get in a few good shots.

In most cases like this, mass means a lot. That guard was nearly twice the size of that kid, and probably much stronger. So all things being equal, the guard had the upper hand.

he looked like a sk!nny little b!tch to me. not to stereotype, but *most* people I've encountered that look/act like him fight JUST like that.

i HIGHLY doubt it hit that security guard by accident. It was deliberate, the guard grabbed the board, the guy jumped the guard, and proceeded to lose the fight. Now, the guard still shouldn't have threatened breaking the guy's arm initially, but he attacked the guard first.

I agree. Notice how he even had a hard time looking at the guard in the eyes. He his head was turned practically the entire time.

What ever happened to being presumed innocent until proven guilty? Can you read that skater punks mind?

The skater kid looked like he intentionally rolled the skateboard into the guards foot the but the guard was acting like an ass. From what I saw the guard didn't have any reason to attack the camera guy. WTF was up with that?

wait, so everyone is saying the skater invoked it, yet no one mentions the guard running after the cameraman and hitting the camera twice? thats not instigation in and of itself?
