Skakel Conviction Upheld in Connecticut

IGBT

Text

Skakel, a nephew of Ethel Kennedy, was convicted in 2002 of bludgeoning his neighbor, Martha Moxley, to death with a golf club in 1975 in wealthy Greenwich. Skakel, who along with the victim was 15 at the time, is serving 20 years to life in prison.

He appealed his conviction to the Connecticut Supreme Court last year, arguing among other things that the statute of limitations had expired when he was charged in 2000.

There is not statute of limitations on murder and it is nice to see a Kennedy pay for their crime for a change.....well I guess their family curse has pretty much made them all pay in one way or another by DYING.

The reason they argued that, was there USED to be a statute of limitations, when the crime was committed.

Now all they need to do is convict Ted of Mary's death.

Too bad everyone in MA has forgotten about that poor girl for the last 35 years. I believe he may have acutally intentionally murdered her too....she was pregnant at the time of her drownong. It is in the Kennedy character to to whatever needs to be done regardless of ethics or legality.
