thanks bruceb
i just dont get why the exe unpacked the what was downloaded into the iso when it wasnt completed

anyways, the downloader is messing up my internet in huge spikes ie /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ but very sharp
and i have to redownload 650mb of stuff
and there's 3 days left before the beta does its stuff

The downloader craps out now and again if your connection is a bit flaky, usually it's just a case of picking up where you left off but I have been forced to re-download once before in the past.

Thats because some sites, like MS & now even Dell, want people to use their own download managers to get files. I think that is totally unneeded. At least at Dell, in some cases you get the option to download thru the browser or if you have the file name you get it on the Dell ftp site. Much faster.
