28s fit me just right, and if I push it . . . 32s are BIG.

try finding a 28x34 pants. Now THOSE are rare.

(I usually wear 32x32s because they sling around my waist and the seams can hang lower . . . but I like pants that actually fit me once in a while)

The sad thing is that it is occuring with most of the clothing I need to buy. XSmall's are even too large now, strange I have GAINED weight and I still can't keep up with the sizing. Thank goodness for the children's department.

Hmm... my wife doesn't find that. Everything we've seen is all sorts of selection up to 36C and nothing but crap beyond that for her 36D(D). :(

So I just got back from the Sam's Club by my house, they have no jeans under 33" because the manager says they do not sell enough to buy in bulk, most were 38" - 42". Now is it just me or is 38 X 32 a FATA$$!!??

No wonder this country gets excited over diets and miracle pills, it's a lard yard! :| Christ I'm 5'6" 160lbs and I feel the need to get my crunches on!

While on the subject I thought this was some funny $h!t too.

Ofcourse my luck it stopped 33" and I'm a 32" LOL

I'm 5'6" and 155lbs... I wear 34" and sometimes 36" jeans. 32"s would be too uncomfortable for me.

My wife get's frustrated because she has troubles finding 34D's. There's like 1 of them in the entire store.

Im a 32x29 but they are impossible to find. I try to get 32x30 but again really hard to find. Heck finding 32x anything is a pain. I have to get 34x32 and wear a belt.

I can fit in 30x30 but i like jeans kinda loose. 30x30 is just a little tight but not skin tight.

It's not due to the size alone, it has to do with the underwire support. I don't see the need to overengineer at the for the expense pain.

Unfortunately clothing in the kid's department is too short for me.Tall women usually wear Misses sizes, those are usually long enough but they are also not cut narrow enough or feature the usual soccer mommie elastic waists and boat neck sweaters...yuck! Junior clothing is too short in the rise, inseam and arm length.

yup, just as most clothing stores tailor their selection to fit their regional market. i'm 32x32, i thought it was pretty damn common.

Yep, I fit into a 32 or 33" waist, but I buy 34x34" loose fit because I like the jeans a little more "open". I have to wear a belt all the time, but I don't care cuz I like the fit.

This reminds me....

SUSAN: You know, I really like those new jeans Jerry was wearing. He's really thin.

GEORGE: Not as thin as you think.

SUSAN: Why? He's a 31. I saw the tag on the back.

GEORGE: The tag, huh?

SUSAN: Mmm-hmm.

GEORGE: Let me tell you something about that tag. It's no 31, and uh...let's just leave it at that.

SUSAN: What are you talking about?

GEORGE: He scratches off a 32 and he puts in 31.

I was under the same impression. The 38+ waist sizes are always the ones you find left on the clearance table.

I usually wear a 36x30. I believe I'm measured out to be a 34 or 35, but I like my pants to fit comfortably right out of the dryer. :D

I'm 5'11" 170, FWIW.

I'm about 5'11" 170. I wear 33x32. I think most people my size are in the 32-34 range, depending on whether their weight is from fat(like me) or from muscle.

I wear size 34 waist, but I'm a big guy at 36" length

They do not sell pants in saint louis in my size. I have to order them. I've looked everywear, big and tall (they have 36" length, but the waists on those are gigantic), Men's wearhouse (no luck), and all the other big retailers (lands end, Sams, etc. etc.)

Being tall and not fat (i'm not thin) makes it hard for me. grr.

how do you wear a 38" waist at 175 lbs?!?! I'm around 175 and my 34 inchers are a little too big on me! I've got 4 or 5 inches on you, but still!

I usually get 34's, but in some jeans I have to go with 36 because they run small.

It's been a while since I got in 32s. Not since college 17 (OMFG!!! it's 17 years already!!!) years ago. Now I am in 34-36. I eat too much, I know it. I am a fat slob.
