Um no, it hasn't. The only thing that has increased is the media frenzy following such attacks.
lol blame the media.

I'd argue that prohibition did work.
It lowered overall alcohol consumption levels. When something is more expensive, you use less of it.
At the very least I just want to make firearms more expensive to own and acquire. If it cost 10k to buy a gun, you'd see fewer mass shootings.

So only rich people get to defend themselves, hunt, and enjoy competitive hobby? Poor people aren't allowed to defend themselves and their property? Even though poor people are more likely to live in high-crime areas?

This is some faulty logic. If it becomes expensive enough they will buy it on the black market. And prohibition was a complete failure. All it did was enable the Italian mafia to gain power and wealth running alcohol. Just like the drug war has allowed the drug cartels to flourish.
There are other ways to defend yourself, like pepper spray.

What? How did you get that from my post? Are you some kind of idiot? I didn't blame the media for the shootings, I merely pointed out that increased media coverage leads to the perception of increased incidents, which is not the case.
No. Pepper spray is not an effective defense for a woman against a male attacker. Especially if the attacker is armed himself, or there are multiple attackers. There are a multitude of official studies confirming this - pepper spray is NOT an effective defensive tool.
Why do you hate poor people and women? Are you some kind of misogynist racist bigot?
did prohibition end alcohol consumption? no.
but it certainly decreased it. Greatly decreased it.

Yes, lets hope that this incident would serve as a wake up call for some people who fail to distinguish sikhs from other communities. Though its not their fault, i feel that we have not been able to propagate that sikhs are not terrorists.
It did for a couple years then rose all the way through till it was repealed. There was a reason why it was repealed. It simply didnt work as promised and instead created large powerful crime organizations. You think Al Capone became a household name because he was selling legal products?

media goes crazy over plane crashes also. I see more stories about shootings than plane crashes. I cannot cite a plane crash since 9/11 from memory, because they ahve been so rare.
Those sources have an agenda, obviously. One is pro-drug agenda, other is libertarian.
Pepper spray basically stuns an attacker and gives you time to run away.
Which is really all that you need in an urban environment.
Well if that is true, that would be a first for that type of mass murderer since McVeigh. I'm sure the liberals are just drooling at the opportunity to blame republicans for it.
