Six Killed, Several Injured in U.S. Shooting in Wisconsin

At least one gunman opened fire at a Gurudwara in Wisconsin during morning prayers on Sunday injuring up to 20 people, some seriously, amid reports that children have been taken as hostages.

Initial reports said a witness to the shooting told law enforcement agents that the shooter was of a heavy build, bald white male wearing a sleeveless T-shirt.

Shooter also presumed dead in what appears to be a hate crime

The White House confirmed that a police officer killed the lone gunman and as of 6:30pm EST “the situation at the Sikh Temple was under control.”

Wonder what the motive might be? Edit : Looks like a hate crime.

There's no mention of hostages now. Hopefully that earlier report was either bad information or has since been resolved.

Right, so the only thing we can really do is limit access to deadly guns across the board.

edit: different laws are meant to help in different situations. Waiting periods would not have helped in this situation, but they help in others where someone is hot-headed.
