I am tring to hook my xbox up to my computer monitor through my tv wonders s-video input connection. Does anyone know if this is possible? I can't figure out how to get it to work.
Thanks
It's possible, but the quality would suck. As S-Video is (I think) limited to NTSC 525i video quality. Do you have the component video out on your X-Box? This should be available through the media expansion or whatever M$ calls it. I'd go to your local Radioshack or whatever and check if they have a component to VGA converter (so you can connect it directly to your monitor). Then you can enjoy some high resolution gaming on your nice monitor.
I only have s video and composite output on my xbox. Do they make a s-video to vga converter i could use.
I tried to hook it up to my s-video input on my tv wonder but I cant see a picture.
I converted the signal to rf and used the rf input on my tv wonder but the pic sucked. I cant figure out how to see a picture with the s-video input.
nevermind i figured out how to get the s-video input working. It actually is a pretty good picture. The reason why I don't want to hook it up directly to my monitor is because I want to see my desktop as well.
