Sometimes i have to help out people with some problems on their system. And usually these people do not know much from computers other than to use it with what they know. Most of the time it is just installing the proper drivers when the windows supplied drivers are not sufficient/enable all features or give problems.
But what if it is for example an OEM laptop with little information that is bought as a second hand.
No hardware manual present and the website of the oem is not clear or just a maze to navigate through.
For years i have this nifty program called SIV : System Information Viewer. It reads out what hardware you have.
The programmers recently updated the software. There is a 32bit and 64bit version (For some time now).
