whats the diff between a crunch and a sit up

A crunch is a situp where you don't flex your hips, you only lift your torso...

Try this... lie on your back on the floor with your lower legs on a table (without someone holding your feet) in 90 degrees angle at both the knee and the hip, now lift your torso as high as you can, that's a crunch...

Have you ever used pelvic rocks to work the midsection, as an alternative or addition to crunches, leg and knee raises, etc.?

I only do weighted crunches and reverse crunches, that's all i need...
