I bought some headlights for my car originally for $400.
The dates on them were for 00 and for 02 production years.
I bought them with the intent to bake them in the oven and remove the yellow amber inside of them and possibly mod them a little.

When I received them I got scared to bake them and decide to trade it with a guy that has 03 headlights already with the amber gone (sport models, the headlights I got for $400 were non-sport thus the yellow). At this point I figured the hell with modifying it and finding someone to trade with that had the guts to open them up.

03 models cannot be baked that is why he wanted the headlights with production year 00 and 02 to bake them. He wants to install angel eyes.

One of the headlights with the production year 02 could not be baked I told the guy the dates the headlights were made and I believed and he believed that they could be opened. Also the person who sold them to me in her thread said they could be baked as well.

Now he bought another headlight for $200 that is production year 01.

At this point I am confused what to do. I think he is going to charge me $600 for me to get his original 03 headlights.

Have you tried baking an alternator? How about a car battery?

I hear 350 degrees for 30 minutes does wonders!

XENON headlights.

I had stock Halogen headlights without the projectors that are found in the stock Xenon headlights.

You bring the automotive guts to bake, and I will supply the oven. Then we can enjoy our meal over a candle-light dinner. :wine::lips::moon:

I have some left-over car battery if you want some. Toasted to perfection!
