oh i forgot , you cannot put lotto sales on a credit/debit card (most places will not do this). So this guy screwed up big!

Most places might not, but 7-11 will if you use your debit card. What I can't figure out is why they put their pin into the pinpad with the extra charge on it. Even if they did put the PIN in earlier, they should have kept the reciept, and complain to the mgr in the morning. I'm sure that the mgr will trip all over themself to make sure that you're happy after hearing about what you did to their employee.

I'm sure it'll be worth the $5 to drive across town (in time AND gas) to ensure that you're given your respect. I'm wondering, though, will you threaten the mgr when they don't give you the respect that you deserve, or will you just be really mature and beat them up?

damn cheap azz bastards dining on the cheap and still dont have a measly $5

then they get all mad and what to cause physical damage when something trivial happens

he had several opportunities to stop the transaction. 1) not swipe his card 2) not put in PIN. 3) cancel the transaction
instead of doing any of those, he let the cashier press buttons and make the charge go thru. and afterwards made a big fuss and threatend to beat up the dude.

maybe the cashier thought "$5 cash back" meant "$5 lotto ticket" ...lol.

wow...$25 paypal to stop posting...thats generosity. we need to setup ATOT funds to stop several people from posting.
OR, it can be like genmay forums, $5 donation gets temp ban for some number of days.

The guy didn't speak english very well and is probably sick of the fvctards that usually go in there and can't use the touch pad. Then you start yelling at him and "pleading" your case in a language he barely understands...and threaten to kick his ass. Of the english he actually knows, id bet ass-kicking he knows(maybe not, assumption)...and you are surprised he got scared.

1)Stop going to that 7-11
2)Dispute Charge
3)Cliffnotes next time, 2/10

the thing that gets me is this "he was gonna kick his a55" mentality. its $5. Let it go. You can cancel the charge later. Why even bring violence into the equation?

the thing is, people only talk/think like this when they feel they can take the other person. we're not living in the stone age anymore. If your friend felt so strongly about it to the point that he wanted to initiate violence, he should do so without regard for the other person's perceived ability to fight. In essence, whether he was an average sized Mexican dude or a 7'2" black guy, he should have the same feelings of initiating violence, otherwise he is nothing more than a combination between a hypocrite, bully, and a coward. I suspect this to be the case. Even thinking about doing physical harm to someone because of something as small as this is foolish.

btw, saying "$5 cash back" to a hardly-speaking cashier at 7-11 = a $5 lotto ticket w/ the lump sum (cash payment) option, instead of the 26 annual. i mean, this guy probably hears this about 100 times a day, i dont think he's ever had someone want $5 back off of a debit card

ticket is for the lotto this wednesday. if my friend hits, we'll go back and pay the fool a few thousand to kick his own ass.

we ran into 3 cops at the restaurant and we explained the situation. of course they chose to do nothing.

That sounds about right.

get over it, ever heard of an ATM machine?

lol. obviously you're the type to coward down when someone takes the slighest advantage or disrespect towards you.

Sounds to me like he just didn't understand what you wanted and just proceeded to give you what he thought you wanted. It's $5. Big freakin deal...let it go.

I wouldn't get in a fight over $5.

Anyone who thinks $5 is worth fighting over is a fool.

As opposed to a coward that never carries cash because they're afraid of getting robbed, or is just too stupid to do so?

ROFL good job paying him to stop posting. For a moment there I thought I might have to tear my eye sockets out.

this is a debit card from a bank, so why pay $.99 + the pin fee to take out $5? Wouldn't this be the equivalent to going to an ATM that is not in your branch and sucking up all the fees associated with it? Dont even bring up not wanting extra cash since most ATMs dont give out $5, because you paid $.99 + the pin fee, so you are losing out on money no matter what. Why not control your spending habits abd learn not to spend every dime you have in your wallet.

hopefully you and your friend are banned from that store. Threatening the guy was a nice touch. Its only $5. You and your friend need to get over it. The guy makes crap an hour, probably has kids to feed, and you want him fired over $5. I'll paypal you $25 never to post here again.

Ha. That's a funny one. if you're man enough to stick to your words and pay me $25, i'll gladly not post here again.

Please do it! I hate that avatar! I hope to never see it again!
