site-specific bookmark bar

ok, I think I have a really good idea for a feature in web browsers. I would make it myself as an extension to firefox but I'm too lazy...so maybe if I post it on here somebody will do it for me:

you know how there's the "bookmark bar", that bar above the address bar where you can drag urls to make sort of "quick launch buttons" for the urls you use most often?

well how about if you just make it so the browser saves a different "bookmark bar" for every DOMAIN (not url) that you visit. so like if I go to some page on craigslist.org, my bookmark bar could have a "post fs in Sac" and "post free in Sac" "filter ikea in Sac" "discussion boards in SF" "filter comp freelance in SF", etc.
Basically, just give you the bookmark buttons you most commonly use depending on WHAT YOU'RE DOING

I think the reason free software is so successful is that people write code to scratch an itch of their own and then share it with the world. No offence meant... just sayin'

I'm not quite sure I get that question really.... I create a folder and put various "best forum" links in it, move it to the personal toolbar. Use the toolbar they give you.

it's a good idea, but i'm not sure i want access to only the links to my currently displayed domain showing. i want access to all my links at once.
