according to the status bar waiting for tracker.anandtech.com is the problem. sometimes it takes up to a minute or two to fully load.
 
I was just going to report the same thing. The pages load fine, and are usable, but the browser continues to load waiting for the tracker.
 
The last 24(ish) hours I haven't noticed Hanging(assuming you mean unable to Scroll), but I have noticed some Incompleted loading, where it continues to Load for a long time. I think it was likely an Ad server issue.
 
Very difficult also for me to use. Consistently slow days now. All other sites OK. Noticed the format options in advanced reply are not working. Is that useful.
 
its doing it really bad for me today. usually about 1 out of every 4 or 5 times I click on something it just hangs for 15-20 seconds with pagead2googlesyndication, ad.turn, or ads.undertone seeming to be the culprit.
 
ads.undertone.com has been stalling pages often for me lately as well.

Stop - refresh works, but it's too bad AT forums aren't using some "Web 2.oh" AJAX / JSON design that will lazy-load the ad content so we can read the rest of the page while the ad server (fails to) respond.

the forums are hanging a lot for me on fmpub.net tonight. i suppose it's an ad thing, but just letting you guys know.
 
randomly hanging like crazy today. even the little skype icon under peoples avatar will sometimes hang the page.
 
again today its randomly doing it and tenzing.fmpub.net was holding me up for 15-20 seconds sometimes.

does anyone even really care when we report this?

well I dont think so. if we are talking about the same thing, I flush that out and it makes no difference. plus it does the same hanging thing on the forums even on different comps in completely different locations. again its random but it is very annoying and defeats the purpose of me having high speed internet, lol.
 
Hanging a lot for me, "b.scorecard.com" the main problem.

Others do it too, like google-analytics and more.

Some updates:

The b.scorecard.com causes a lot of people on many sites problems. You can go to scorecard.com and opt out, you can manually delete the cookie (did both, still hung).

What finally helped with that site and others was to add the blocker add-on for the browser.

It creates some headache blocking sites you want you have to manually add as ok, but it sure helped here and other sites.

Now on anandtech the addon has things like 'fmpub.net blocked', which is good because that's one of the sites that hung here.

The noscript tool continues to help, but it's still very slow a lot, it can spend 30 seconds 'waiting for forums.anandtech.com'.
