I am in the process of developing an idea that will hopefully lead to development of the site. Idea: Create a website initially aimed at newbie php programmers. To set weekly challenges for them and then have their submissions marked and rated. Then possibly keep a log of these and maybe make it into a league. I would in the future like to offer challenges for intermediate and advanced levels and possibly prizes for best submissions. In the future possibly allowing websites which require a script to offer an idea for challenge and then it being carried out and them offering the prize. At the minute I really need someone who would be interested in doing a design template because at the minute I am pretty rubbish at that part of web making. If you are interested then pop over. I am looking something professional mainly. 😀 Also need some people who are pretty good at php and would be interested on maybe marking and thinking up the challenges.
If you aren't interested in getting involved then what do you think of the idea? Do you think it would work out in the long run? Get many people interested?
