Sisoft versus digital multimeter

I am getting completely different readings from sisoft than when I check with my multimeter. Sisoft will say i am at 11.73 on my 12 volt line while my multimeter sayis 12.05. Why the difference? I figure multimeter is right.

They could both be 100% correct, actually. Unless you can find the precise spot on the mobo where the sensor chip is, and use the DMM on that particular 12V line, then you're not really measuring the same exact piece of the 12V plane that SiSoft is looking at. Overall, though, I'd trust the multimeter over software any time.

I thought that might be it. I have tried several different spots, but have not been able to replicate the 11.73. Multimeter is constant 12.05.

Thanks
