What is the best board out now based on the SiS645 chipset. I'm concerned with overclocking, stability, and performance. Anybody have any good ideas?

Thanks a lot.

There are a ton of good Sis645-based mobos out there to choose from.

Overclocking--I use an ASUS P4S333 and can get my 1.6A to 2.4G easily. The Epox 4SDA+ looks good too, on paper it has every BIOS option you could possibly want...never used it though.

Stability--I have never had a motherboard-related crash with the P4S333. Many other manufacturers also make stable Sis645 boards, though.

Performance--They're all pretty much the same IMO. But you could wait for Sis 645DX boards to appear if you want...they will include DDR400 support.

I have the 4sda+ and it runs well for me at 138 fsb with plain old micron pc2100 non-ecc memory. I've already flashed the bios twice, and the second flash gives you spd support for memory. Only thing to look out for is running with more than 1 stick of ddram. I had to change the dram command from 1T to 2T (or auto) to get it to post with 2 sticks.

The Soyo P4S is a SIS 645 Based board. It has a ton of built in features and supports DDR333....

I have tried the MSI, Asus and Epox SIS M/B. By far, the best is the Epox for overclocking. Especially if you have a Northwood chip. Otherwise, they are all super boards.
