I want a board with decent 3D performance and a TV OUT that will work when my desktop is set to 1280 x 1024 resolution. The board I bought uses
the SIS 315 and 305 chips and is made by H.I.S. I bought it because it has dual monitor support, TV out (the box said RCA and SVideo, but it lied, it was
only SVideo, so I bought a $3 adaptor) and the box specifically said that each monitor or the TV and monitor could be set to independent resolutions
and refresh rates.
Well, it AIN'T TRUE!
When I enable the TV output, it changes the resolution on Display 1 to 800x600. Yuck.
I've found that NVidia cards with TV out are even worse, even the ones with dual monitor support like this one. They force you to go to 640x480 or
live with TV output that only outputs part of the screen.
Is this a driver problem with Win 2K drivers?
I'm upset because the box promised me better.
