I don't even listen to any of the talk stations like news, sports, etc.. So its really not worth the price for only 5 stations or so. I have the cd channels on my dishnetwork system and even 95% of them are junk. I just like the regular fm radio. With my crappy direcpc connection I can't even listen to the live stream without it being all garbled up. So thats useless.

How old are you Chevy Driver?

I tried to get in on this deal but the first phone # listed for the deal now records a message saying "no sales are being take after 1/31, please leave a message if you have ordered before that date.."

The second # 1-888-xxx-siri routes the call to American Satelite, one of the resellers, who offer that complete Kenwood package with install for $225.

At the sirius website, the resellers offer this: 1) only the kenwood receiver for $119, 2) or the package I mentioned above.

This deal would be hot if it you can get the receiver $200 retail, the modulator $229 retail and antenna for $15 activation and 1 year at approx $12 month ( $144).

Where did you find this deal?? or am I missing something.

That is the beauty of XM, they still have the FM feel. They have DJs on many stations that make is less like Musak. I have had DTV and DISH music channels for years and I hate them. This is what steered me from Sirius. Oh yeah, I forgot that Sirius is an extra $3 a month. Oh yeah, I also forgot about the lack of mobility of Sirius.

Sirius has about 30k subs, XM has 400k. I must not be the only one.

this would have been hot for me ... I looked at this thread when the deal was dead....I have been thinking of getting sirius (I have a kenwood) or using the XM mod and going that route.
