My friend just got a new car and it has Sirius radio in it. He did not pay for Sirius and he gets like 10 channels is this like Sirius's only free channels or is it because its on some trial?
Thanks

Brand new and out of date already. "Sigh" Take it back and demand a MP3 replacement.

mel karmazin said you won't need new radios. they will port over the channels you don't have (not duplicates). in the future they will release radios to cover the whole spectrum.Originally posted by: ultimatebob

It's not out of date yet, anyway... Although he'll probably be pretty pissed when XM and Sirius merge and he needs a new radio to listen to all of the stations. Since both networks work on different frequencies, one radio can't listen to both networks yet.
