Sirius car radio and FM Transmitter

the only FM transmitter that i've had that was clearish was an original i trip that i remeasured and rewound an antenna for.+

I have had no luck at all with the FM Transmitter on my Sirius. The normal FM stations keep breaking through and it is worthless on a longer trip. I ended up connecting it to my AUX on two of my cars. I got a tape adapter on my third car and on my fourth car I got a Sirius direct connect adapter for cheap from CC when they were going out of business. The direct connect plugs into the antenna and works well if you don't ave any AUX inputs. I just carry the receiver from car to car.

Yeah my experiences with FM transmitters has been pretty poor as well, even with higher end ones. If your stereo has one I'd strongly recommend just hooking it up through a line in.

I am currently running my Sirius thru a FM Transmitter. Since I only listen to talk radio it doesn't sound too bad. I do get interference once in awhile thoug.
