Yep. They have both had the 3 day trial for as long as I can remember.

Nither of the Stern channels are available online yet though 🙁

Stern is coming soon... Apparently they didn't want to go online until the servers are up to handle that many concurrent connections....

Thanks for the link. Too bad they dont offer much in the way of talk for a trial. If I subscribed I would do it mostly for talk, and since I can't try what they have (its mostly people I haven't heard of or heard before), I dont think I'll subscribe.

I will say this though, the music quality online isn't as high as it could be. They even mention in thier FAQ that the quality online is lower than if you had thier car radio. Well it better be, because I wouldn't pay monthly for the quality that the online music comes in. Sounds like its like 22khz.

hotdeal or not, sat radio is incredible. Whether you get xm or sirius, get one, its such a tremendous upgrade over reg radio its not even funny.
Think about when you first got cable/sat tv vs the regular 5-10 channels you were getting. In radio its even more of an upgrade.

I used to hate long drives, with all the station flipping along the way and bickering over who's cds to play when you hit a dead zone.
Now i look forward to long drives. Never having to switch channels because you leave the range of that local station is HUUGE. I can keep it on channel 22 (sirius) and listen to the same crappy music ive been listening to since HS.

Music more than any other medium has the transformitive powers to bring back old memories.
On satelite, you will consistently find/hear songs that bring you back to before you had pubic hair.

btw, ive owned both brands and imho theres really no differecne between the 2.
