Hello board,
I'm wondering what you guys are using to view your acurate cpu temps in windows XP?
I have Sandra03 and it's giving a false reading of 127C in windows, while in the BIOS I'm at a nice 44c. I know Sandra is wrong of course from the hand test, plus the fact the ZIF would prolly of melted off by now and I'd surely be smelling ozone....
SO, here I am, wanting to drag this some$$$$$ thu the mud and see what this cpu/temps do, but cant.. All I have is my hand :Q
3.06 cpu HT enabled, working
F4 BIOS
sinxp -- assume A0 stepping since I lose Power Managment options and the Easy Tune 4 WILL NOT RUN with HT enabled
1 gig Corsair 3200LL ----- CAN'T RUN AT 2-2-2-6 set at 2-3-2-6 now
wouldn't even boot at SPD settings... had to stick in an old stick of ddr to get past post and into bios........ argh
Thermaltake spark 5+
AC3
It sure if fast tho... running at a conservative 3.2 gig, mem at 430 ish.. it sure does fly..
thx for your help!
