Considering you're freaking out about the stepping of the chipset on a mainboard you might want to consider the killing yourself option :p j/k

There is at least 1 user here who has the A0 and 3.06 and says HT works perfect with shipped bios.

How could he tell?? Did he do some kind of benchmarking of HT vs. non-HT at the same speed??

Inquiring minds want to know, before I go out to buy the board.

Maybe a link to the original post would help too.

I have read that all boards out now are Rev 1. Some have the A0, some the B0. Also read that the A0 DOES support HT, but you lose some other functions when you 'enable' HT.
