So I am a student that works without benefits (server) and pays my own tuition so I can't afford an expensive health plan. I would however like to be covered just in case anything happens to me. Is there a decent place I can look for to see about getting health and dental coverage?

Thanks!

I was actually gonna just suggest this. Often times, schools have some pretty decent, cheaper health plans. Other than that, I've got nothing else :X Sorry.

I got mine through eHealthInsurance.com. You can get some pretty good rates if you have a high deductible. A little bit more pricey initially, but if anything goes seriously wrong you're covered.

Check with your school like others said. If it is a regular 4 year University they will have a Doctors office on campus.
