single stuck red pixel on notebook screen

need some sanity advice. my new dell latitude d610 SXGA+ 14" screen has a stuck red pixel in the middle of the screen. It generally resides on the firefox toolbar. It's really only noticeable on light backgrounds, but that includes web browsing, spreadsheets, word processing, etc...probably about 80% of my usage.

It's mildly annoying, but I can probably live with it. However, Dell offerred to replace the notebook since it's within 21 days of purchase. I'm worried I'll get a screen that has 5 dead pixels if I do an exchange though.

Should I just live with it? Suggestions? Flames?

I returned 2 gateway laptops to best buy (all in the same day without leaving the store) before I found one that was perfect.

From everything I researched, a perfect screen stays perfect 99% of the time. People are just slow in noticing dead pixels.

So if Dell is willing to replace it, go for it. And do it again and again and again until you get a perfect screen. Althoug to be honest, the odds are that the next one you get will be perfect.

This is the prime reason why I personally would never buy anything with an LCD screen from a mail order place.
