I just switched out PSUs. My old config I ran one cables per 6 pin connector on my GTX 670 that has 2 6 pin connections. With this new PSU I am only running 1 VGA cable to the GPU and am using a 6 pin split. I'm not concerned about the looks of 1 cable vs 2 cables running to the GPU I'm more interested in system stability.

Old PSU was an Enermax Revolution 85+ Silver 950w from 2009
I just purchased and installed an EVGA SuperNova Titanium T2 1000w

So are the two cables better than one?

Thanks

Are you saying your new 1000W PSU does not have two 6 pin connectors on it?

Its not that two are better than one, its that you need two to supply the proper amount of current.

EDIT: Ok, I see that is a modular PSU. You need both 6 pin connectors to be able to receive their full 75W.

No, there are 6 PCIe VGA connections on the PSU. 4 single connection cables, and 2 with a Y split

Ok, so use two of the VGA PCIe cables instead of one?
