Don't get it.

Well produced maybe, but the idea is hardly original, inspiring, or anything else...

yes, because children wandering through the icelandic wilderness and jumping off cliffs is SUCH a music video cliche.

i mean, you've got bling-bling, party scenes, flashing light backgrounds, and icelandic kids jumping off of cliffs.

all equally unoriginal and cliched.

Anybody willing to make a subtitle of this music video? I'm deaf and I would like to know the lyrics. Although the beat is so nice and soft all the way throughout. Please let me know, PM me or whatever. I have class so I got to be going now. Take care and thanks.

who knows? they are in icelandic (and sometimes the singer just makes up words rather than singing in any known language). the point with this band is just the etheral sound of his voice (sort of like a choir boy), and the beautiful melodies.

Nú vaknar þú
allt virðist vera breytt
ég gægist út
en er svo ekki neitt

úr-skóna finn svo
á náttfötum hún
í draumi fann svo
ég hékk á koðnun?

með sólinni er hún
og er hún, inni hér

en hvar ert þú....

legg upp í göngu
og tölti götuna
sé ekk(ert) út
og nota stjörnurnar
sit(ur) endalaust hún
og klifrar svo út.

Glósóli-leg hún
komdu út

mig vaknar draum-haf
mitt hjartað, slá
úfið hár.

Sturlun við fjar-óð
sem skyldu-skrá.

og hér ert þú

fannst mér.....

og hér ert þú

Glósóli.....

and my translation

Glósóli (used as a name, roughly translated as Shiningsun)

Now you wake up
everything seems changed
i look out
but then i dont see a thing

Take of my shoes*
in her pajamas
she found a dream
and held on to (something)*

with the sun she is
and she is here inside

but where are you ...

start the walk
stroll the street
see nothing outside
and use the stars
she sits forever
and then climbs outside

like Glósóli she
come outside

I wake a sea of dreams
my heart beats
wild hair

Madness by far*
that is mandatory*

and here are you

i feel

and here are you

Glósóli

The lines with the * at the end I quite didnt manage to translate, or that the lyrics made no sense at all, most often the latter.

Awsome video, first time I see it 😀
