Well with the weather warming up, I've discovered that I can't run both the GTX570 and GTX285 in the same box. Asus, in their infinite wisdom decided to place two of the PCIe x16 slots so close together that one card covers the fan of the other. The third PCIe x16 slot is right on the board edge and can only accommodate a single slot card. Brilliant design for the Asus Rampage mobo.

Anyway, in another box, I've got 2 x 8800GTS (not in SLI) crunching away. For F@H, what will get me better output, the single 285 or the two 8800s? Thanks.

I'm not sure about F@H, but for PrimeGrid, which should be similar, it's really close! The 8800GTSes get the edge in my estimate table, but just barely. (29.64 vs. 25.23 processor equivalents.) I don't account for memory bandwidth in my estimates, so I could be wrong.
