Singing voices are generally fine until at least 60 or 70 if the person knows how to sing properly and don't abuse their health with drugs, alcohol and cigarettes.

Well, she's not 50, but Christina Scabbia's voice is still pretty amazing after 20+ years.

Dennis DeYoung from Styx still sounds great and can hit the high notes. Jeff Keith of Tesla sings just like he did 30 years ago, if not better. Kelly Keagy from Night Ranger can still sing too.

Some that have lost their voice and can no longer hit the high notes: David Coverdale (Whitesnake), Joe Elliot (Def Leppard), and Jon Bon Jovi (you know).

Alice Cooper was never a great singer. He was a great entertainer and a great self-promoter. Great singer though? Nah. I still enjoy his music though.

Patti Labelle & Chaka Khan, and while not quiet 50 yet Chante Moore's 48 and sounds better than she did 20 years ago imho. And unless something catastrophic happens at 50+ she'll still have one of the greatest voices on the planet.

Yeah, there is definitely a difference between great singer and great entertainer. There is plenty of great entertainers, but great singers?
