I know, I know. But forget all the steward stuff, Max Mosley, and all the other junk that is ruining F1. Who else is excited about the Singapore GP? First race in the night. I hope it turns out to be a good race and isn't ruined by more nonsense (but it probably will). One of my favorite sights is glowing brake discs in the dark.

Passing Will Be Rare in Singapore, Says Massa

not looking good there...

Haug denies Singapore GP delay rumours

Norbert Haug has played down rumours that extremely wet conditions could endanger the running of the inaugural F1 night race in Singapore this weekend.

at least it will be raining, and probably coming down in buckets

I was gonna be there watching from the 35th floor of UOB Tower 1. I can actually see the entire track that wraps around from Marina (Grand stand) to the Flyers to where it wraps around a section of CBD, around the Congress district and back to Suntec to Marina. Too bad I had to come back to California, would have been sweet, and LOUD.

douchebags!

ok I am watching the qualifications on tv and this course looks very narrow and tight! a serious accident can easily happen

i just watched the qualifying on speed. i think the picture quality is a bit better than the european races - maybe singapore runs NTSC, or something better converted than PAL. the best picture quality were the races upconverted on fox hd, and the best camera work was monaco by far.
