I think Sinclair's management should be fired for what they've done, but I really hate this kind of thing. It just smacks of a certain kind of totalitarianism that I find offensive. I'm not sure exactly why, because it is perfectly legal, but at this rate Sinclair will be filing Chapter 11, which means a lot of little people will get hurt along the way. The excecutives are all rich coots and have nothing to worry about, but secretaries, cameramen, etc. Sheezh...I don't know.... Maybe I'm too soft....

Keep up the infomative posts and call or write your local stations on the lists above.
Get the good word out, their web of lies and deceit are losing to Democracy in action.
Hopefully the media will wake up soon and realize bush is a sinking ship and try to hold on to a shred of credibility (I am not so sure though)
It is their fault also for leading us into bush's war.
Exellent work!

Wow, they stole the photos to make the Anti-Kerry film. That says it all right there.

Sinclair Sued by Filmmaker Over Kerry Photos

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The director of a documentary about John Kerry's Vietnam service sued Sinclair Broadcast Group on Thursday, accusing it of illegally copying his photographs in a controversial anti-Kerry movie it plans to air portions of this week.

A spokeswoman for Sinclair could not be reached for comment.

The suit, filed in Manhattan federal court, seeks unspecified damages and an order barring Sinclair and film distributors from selling or showing the movie containing copyrighted photographs and film footage.

Butler directed the documentary "Going Upriver: the Long War of John Kerry," which chronicles the circumstances leading to Kerry's Vietnam service, and his protest against the war after he returned home

Lawrence Fabian, a lawyer representing Butler, Swift Boat Film and Winter Film, told Reuters he had heard from defense lawyers the one-hour news program, "A POW Story: Politics, Pressure and the Media" to be aired on Friday would not contain any of the copyrighted works.
================================================

So the real reason Sinclair chopped up their original phoney film is to take the photos they stole out of it.

Desperate Neocons in action folks.

It's a shame this Brainwashing tactic is still working on the American sheep as evident by the Neocons in here still proud of the Neocon Nation.

Good riddence. This disgraceful crap load of $hit of a company deserves to die. in some places in the world trying to subvert the vote of a nation is considered treason. Not that, dick, bush, and colin will stand up and do anything about it.

SIN - against america - clair has crossed the line when it comes to freedom of the press.

I dunno, what did you think of Michael Moore's F 9/11?

The problem I have with Sinclair is their refusal to allow a balancing piece or rebuttal and the fact that they refused to air the Nightline showing all of the dead GIs. These things present an obvious bias toward a group I do not support. Therefore, I'm not going to give them, nor anyone connected with them a shred of business.

I have not viewed Michael Moore's F 9/11, that is why I have not commented on it. ;)

And no one's even seen the dratted show yet.

And nobody should see it. It's garbage.

Btw, Sinclair invited Kerry to participate in the news event....

Really. I can see no reason why he would want to be involved in something like a post airing interview. He is not to blame for those men's woes. I will continue to boycot the advertisers who supported this decision on Sinclairs part.

From PFizer - an e-mail I received today...

Thank you for contacting us to voice your concerns about Pfizer and
advertising on Sinclair Broadcast Stations. Please be advised that we will
not be advertising during the documentary, "Stolen Honor".

Pfizer buys advertising on national networks like ABC, NBC and CBS that
Sinclair airs, and occasionally on local stations. Decisions about
placing our advertising are guided by what programs are most likely to
reach people who might benefit from messages about our medicines and the
diseases they treat. Our advertising placement with a network is not in
any way an endorsement of programming decisions.

We truly appreciate the time taken to express your thoughts and concerns
with us, and hope this clarifies any concerns you have about our
intentions as an advertiser. Thank you for allowing us to share our
thoughts with you.

Yours truly,

I did not watch this either. I guess I will have to rely on the critique from this forum to make a decision on the content.

That should be fairly easy to do.
