Prices haven't gone up too badly. My co-workers and I go to Chilis every week and have been for the past 5 years or so. I think ordering pop is a rip off there, though.

Everything I ordered tonight I have order for the past 3-4 years and the prices have definitely risen 30 cents or so every year for all items or more.

So you are saying that nachos were under 46 in the recent past? The old timer has raised by 20 cents over 5 years, the chips went up about the same. Buffalo wings have gone up maybe 40 cents.

Well I don't have itemized pricing for Chili's food menu items over the past several years, BUT I am aware they have risen whether 20 cents or 30 cents on EVERY item and it does add up after a while.

under $10.00 for an entree at a sit down restaurant is pretty reasonable in my opinion

Agree with the cracker barrel > *. I usually get the pot roast, comes with three sides, I get mashed potatoes, hashbrown casserole, and fries. Damn I'm hungry now.

Illegal to give cash for blood. You can give coupons, though.

While I agree, you can't bring in drinks to the restaurant.

$40 for my wife, our son and I is very reasonable IMO. We go there every now and then...hell, I spend that on sushi every week just for my wife and I.

The wife and I split a plate and we almost always (99%) of the time get water and put lemon and sweet n' low in it. Yeah where cheap but our bill is half of what most people we go out with is.

Our bill is usually ~$10-15 w/ tip when we go out and some people get 2 cokes, appetizer, 2 desserts and 2 entrees and their bill is ~$50. I just cant see how people justify spending that much on something they are going to "release" in a few hours. About once a quarter we actually go out and each get our own plate, but still get water etc.

Rice Patties FTW

With the amount of calories and fat in that "snack" Chili's has to prepay Medicare for your angioplasty down the road. The cost then gets shifted to you.

So I ordered without looking at prices.................bad idea.

1) Dr. Pepper $2.19
2) Chicken Fajita Nachos w/ Guac $8.79 + $1.29 (Guac)
3) Chocolate Paradise Pie $5.29

My total after tax was $18.51 and I was shocked. How could I spend almost $20 on food for just myself!?!? My sister had an $8 salad and a water so her bill was much more reasonable.

I paid the bill and left a 20% tip but I swear their prices keep creeping up every year. This place is becoming a tad unreasonable in my view.

Inflation FTL. :(

I like Chilis, their food is usually pretty good out here.

Probably wasn't a good idea for your sis to only have a salad after donating blood. The meal after donating is supposed to be a 'hearty' one. Rabbit food is not hearty. :p

Me and the little lady went and had dinner at Johnny Corrino's night before last, and both of us had an entree, couple of (beer/red fufu drink) drinks, and dessert. The bill was $30.85, or so. I almost fell out of my chair, as anywhere else it would have been about $50. Needless to say they got a good tip. Hey, I can't be a cheapskate when pandering for sex. ;)
