Since when do guys actually care about strange girls' feelings?

Since when do guys actually care about strange girls' feelings?

<Edit>I should probably clarify the fight club thing. It's nothing like the movie. It's really just a sparring club, where we have a variety of styles. Things are quite friendly in it, no one is really beating the tar out of each other. But "The Multi-Disciplinary Sparring Club" just lacks something as a title. So we call it Fight Club. But it's really nothing like the movie...we're just not that stupid 😛</Edit>

This was really odd.
As some of you may know I recently joined a fight club at my school.
So the other day I'm walking along with 4 other guys, 3 are fellow fight club members, and 1 of those 4 is the founder of the club.
This is a guy who is like 5'10" at most with arms quite noticeably larger than mine (which are about 15 or 16")...he's got a hell of a fat lip (my fault 😱 oops....)...I dunno...he's a nice guy I guess but he just looks like such a goon. And the day before we were beating each other down in fight club 😛

Anyways...the bunch of us guys are being typical male pigs talking about but'er faces 😛 Anyways there is this girl sitting on a bench with a great rear end...and as we walk around someone is like yeah there is a but'er face....and the founder of fight club, the guy I think looks like a bit of goon notices she's crying...

So he goes over and talks to her...doesn't try to get her number or hit on her or anything like that...he is honestly just trying to make her feel better.

This is a guy who is the founding member of fight club, and was just seconds ago talking about but'er faces....and he genuinely cared that this girl was upset.

Maybe I'm just overly cynical...okay..no maybe, I am...but this really astounded me that he genuinely cared. I didn't think anyone cared about random strangers these days....and he's not the kind of guy that seems overly compassionate...to be fair, goon is a very good word for him, I was just trying to draw a contrast. But he does not on the outside seem like a very compassionate guy.

It's just...weird...

Anyways, I just thought I'd share a story where someone actually did something nice for once.

PS: The Moral of the story is, if this guy can be nice and sensitive without seeming gay you can to 😉
I've been in the "ring" with this guy, and I wouldn't call him a girly man 😛

The first rule of fight club is,
1. that you do NOT talk about fight club

Second rule of fight club is,
2. you DO NOT talk about Fight Club

:disgust:

Since when do guys actually care about strange girls' feelings?
When they become a man.

Fight club? As in the movie?

No...not very much like that at all. Except that we stole the name.
It's more a sparring club. Sparring club just sounds dumb though 😛

LOLyourFace: It's not much like the movie, we talk about it all the time.

Ah, I see 🙂. I think you should call it "sparring club". "Fight club" brings to my mind an image of bunch of wannabe-badasses 😛. Are YOU a wannabe 😉?

Nah...I just wanna get in shape. I'm going to rejoin a proper martail art (I've got some Karate and Judo background already) in a couple months when I have money and am in better shape. This is just kind of a precursor.
It's amazing how hard it is to fight/spar for even a couple of minutes when you are in as bad shape as me 😛
I'm just trying to build some endurance and get back into shape while I wait to get some money so I can get back into a "proper" martial art. Try and get some of my reflexes back for blocking and noticing when someone is about to kick me and all that kind of stuff 😛

I first noticed it maybe in 1st grade. There was a girl that ran like a stork, slow and awkward. Everybody seemed to laugh uproariously at her but me. I remember feeling the most profound pity for her. I could not then comprehend, such unimaginable cruelty.

I always try to help strangers, and I have also been assisted a number of times by compassionate people who did not have to. It's shocking that people find that shocking 🙁

Called compassion and empathy.

yeah, no kidding. I really can't stand to see a woman crying. It breaks my heart, esp. when it's someone attractive and/or someone I know.

i've always wanted to stop and see how they are doing and cheer em up, but i always feel bad for trying to butt in, i don't wanna look like i wanna take advantage of the situation, so i don't do anything, i think next time i will, i guess its not that strange =)

was she crying cause she heard you guys call her a butterface or was it unrelated? wasn't too clear on that... if it was unrelated then that guy is a nice guy.. if it was cause you guys called her a butterface then he's still somewhat a goon...just not as big of a goon as the rest of you guys

Hahaha no no, she didn't hear that. She was crying becuase she failed some tests or something. Totally unrelated to our rude comments.

And in her defense, it's pretty hard to have a pretty face when you are bawling 😛

" I could not then comprehend, such unimaginable cruelty." So at six years old, Moonbeam was talking like this already? No wonder he talks as he does at age fifteen.......heh.

Real men will care and do nice things for others. They will do things that many will never know about or see.
