Salary isn't always the only source of income. Some people could be playing stock martket, others could be running a business or have some other investment. I work for a software company and we got BMWs, Mercs, Jag convertibles, supped up Mustangs. If you try hard enough you can find a way to afford something you want.

It is rather funny how you put Mustangs in with BMWs, Mercedes, and Jaguars.

Those babies can go up there in price. I think the guy in question spent around 40k on his.

Saw one of these with a CDC sticker on it leaving work yesterday. I'm obviously in the wrong division if other people are buying $90,000 cars. 🙁

You'd have the money if you didn't spend it all on fancy bike parts. 😉

He goes to parties, sometimes until 4. It's hard to leave when he can't find the door. 😀

That's a pretty slick looking car. I may need to get myself a gov job.

I guess I could se a fed. employee being able to buy a car like that. I'm searching for a job right now and I've notice that alot of fed jobs seem like they haven't really adjusted their pay from the dot com. bust. I've see a few jobs for DBA's or network admins going for 130k+/year. I could see someone making that kind of money spending 70k on a car 90k if they really really want it.

You're really going to have to find that division when the car drives up with a Thule/Saris roof rack with a Litespeed Ulitmate, outfitted with a full Campy Record gruppo, lashed to one side and the kid's Litespeed tricycle on the other.
