Why does the Summer's Eve Fresh Scent Douche have a distinct smell similar to "Listerine®"?

A: Fresh Scent Douche contains a fresh, clean and refreshing fragrance, which some women find similar to Listerine®. Please be aware that we do not manufacture Listerine®.
Holy crap, hope that stuff doesn't burn like Listerine!

When I was a kid (I'm in my 30s), other kids were using the term "douche bag" rarely, and these were the loser kids.

Now, this phrase is popping up in mainstream primetime TV (e.g. Family Guy). When did this exceptionally vulgar term become acceptable? Don't get me wrong, I can swear like a mother ******, but "douche bag" to me is just blatantly sexist and vulgar.

So im guessing you are like in yours 60's ?

He said he's in his 30s, not that he was a kid in the 30s. Douche. ;)

I don't think douche bag is offensive at all. I think it's a fun and creative insult. When I was in my early teens, the big insult in my house (my younger brother started this, and my siblings and I thought it was funny so we picked up on it) was "poopy butt". Douche bag makes me think of that. It's a stupid insult, but more clever than poopy butt. :p

Douche reminds me of a german word "Warmduscher".

So I go and look up the translation and its "mollycoddle".

Now you'd have to be a true douche to use a word like mollycoddle :music:

Because saying, "You're the receptacle for the cleansing water of someone's vagina" just doesn't sound as insulting. :p

Edit-Which brings up an interesting point actually, do you find a woman's vagina to be extremely repulsive?

Edited a second time to add the Edit- :p
