since when could you be sewed for sharing a bit torrent file

THe other day in the mail i received a letter saying if i didnt remove a certain file off my computer with blah blah blah hours that they will a whole bunch of more blah penalize me but what gets me is its a freakin game not music what the crap does anyone have a reasonable explaination for this BTW i already took the file off my computer.

i dont know ill go see if i can get it out of the garbage can (i thought it was a joke that one of my friends pulled but im not to sure so i bombed the file)
 
Um you do realize by seeding and sharing you are distributing copyrighted material, correct?

Which is illegal.
 
Sharing copywrited material using a protocol that publishes the ip of everyone connected for that specific torrent to everyone else connected. Somehow you're surprised that you got caught?
 
or i will im not sure i will have to be more careful no more sharing to the online community for a while just with local friends
 
I got sewed a couple of times. The first was when I was about 5 and it was in my eye - a couple hundred or so. The second time was when I was in the 4th grade and it was only 7.

I don't want to get sewed again. I hope you don't either. Getting sewed sucks.
