...how about stickied threads at the top of some forums like "PDA's" in General Hardware?
Just a thought.

Do people read stickies? In my experience, they generally don't read them.

How do you come to this conclusion???
If this is the case the stickies relating to the deals that Anand has gotten for members is just a waste.

Stickies that matter, AKA the FAQ stickies, are ignored (look at the most asked questions in Networking and OS for confirmation on this). Why add more clutter with silly stickies?

I dont care about PDAs, unless I see an interresting thread (if I relied on the topics of most of the threads posted I will never find one) I will read it. I dont want a worthless PDA sticky at the top cluttering up an already cluttered Forum. If you want posts about PDAs in general hardware (or whever the topic is appropriate (not that many users know what is appropriate in each forum)), post them.

A knee jerk reaction to my words!! I did not say that I wanted a sticky or anything about things other than the statement made by Andy Hui.

A truley selfish statement if I ever heard one, according to this thinking the only what you are interested in should be posted.

Let's just say that people DON'T read stickies and leave it at that.

Trust me, I have far more information than you.
