Since the SuperCommittee failed, does that mean Bush tax cuts expire?

It was not a rhetorical question. It am trying to ascertain if you think poor people create jobs by asking a simple question.

I also noticed you still did not answer it.

Yes, poor people actually do create jobs.

Social workers, medical clinics, child services, lawyers, welfare & foodstamps offices, etc.

She has money to start a business, and pay 8 people. Not very poor, since her earnings are more than the wages of 8 people.

Since her earnings are greater than the wages of 8 people, she is earning 8 times as much as each of those people. Last time I checked, earning 8 times as much as the employees does not make you poor.
I'm guessing business loan/line of credit.

But now I am asking a direct questoin.

So do still believe poor people create jobs?

Thank you for making it painfully clear, very early on, that you are nothing more than an elitist.

You are just as worthless and selective as the rest of the dellusional conservative slime on these forums.

That's a lot of bullshit assumption on your part. You really don't know how small business works at all.

Most new small business operate at a loss or break even when they start out. My wife is not making that much from the business as she is growing it. There's enough to cover her staff etc... and to pay for all operational expenses and withdraw what she needs.

Pretty arrogant little fucker though aren't ya?

How many poor people create jobs?

Jussayin...

My answer: No, I do not believe the people with the lowest resources create jobs in quantities. 'Maybe' a small percentage of jobs are created there. People get creative and thrive.

I want to comment on the 'tax the job creators' portion.
Income taxes on the job creators are currently lower* and have been lower* and yet I've seen unemployment rising over the last few years.

Can one say that because of those lower rates then hiring was suddenly boosted? If hiring was suddenly boosted and it coincides with lower rates, does that mean lower tax rates is the sole reason for that to occur?

I believe people\companies will hire when there's demand for their product.
Why would someone hire if tax rates were lower yet nobody wanted to buy their product?

An increase from the current 35% marginal rate is not pocket change but I do not believe that if someone in the upper brackets saves say $20k or $40k in taxes, they will suddenly go out and hire...It will be saved\invested\gifted. Does it hurt them a lot to pay that extra in taxes? I do not think so either.

I share the sentiment of the why should a wealthier person carry more tax burden. More income means paying more taxes...it is proportional.

I am solely commenting on the job creators. There are many more conversations to be had to make the system fair to all but I'll stay on topic.

Lower: Lower than tax rates were pre-2003.

😀

OK, I admit I am wrong. There are a plethora of jobs created because of the poor!

WELL PLAYED!

Trickle down doesnt work. If I am given huge personal tax cuts im going to take huge personal profits. If you tax the piss out of my higher income I will push that money around to not get taxed on it and keep it in the business or make some investments in my company. Only w2 plebs think that lower income taxes means wealth will spend more.

Raise up all the bush era taxes and Cut the military to the bone. Bring it on. You will hear all them liberal crying all the way to the bank. Dont you know there are plenty of rich liberals?

Didnt O-blammah just invade Libya? Now he wants to cut the military and raise taxes?

Cant Fix Stupid.

The way I see it we should cut Military and SS and Medicaire straight accross the board along with education, school lunches, department of energy (solar panel/energy giveaways), Earned income credit, Business and Corporate welfare, tax abatements, Mortgage insurance & Taxes, etc.

Just cut them all.

Ah, and there is your contempt for the "lower classes" - which explains why people like you get wet when jobs are shipped overseas and cost maybe one penny more than slave labor.

How many "job creators" are actually creating jobs in America? They've been gutting the middle class for the last 40 years and sending the actual work to other nations.

who enacted policies that enabled them to send jobs overseas?

Repubs taking the rest of the economy hostage to preserve the welfare of the Rich? Say it ain't so!

Democrats taking other peoples money and giving to others like it's free and thus causing those "poor" people to be dependant on government handouts and thus never striving to reach for success on their own, thus enslaving their voting demographic to them like modern day slaves. Say it aint so Mass'a

The sock puppet is strong with that one... best to ignore attention whores.

It's kind of funny seeing so many companies who hire skilled labor hiring outside of the USA now, but then you look at our skilled labor market and it's pathetic. We're missing about 300-400,000 skilled laborers in this country.
