Wow, lots of discussions on this subject. I can say that people around the world see the picture differently now, after learning a little about Islam and its believers over the last decade. Definitely different political atmosphere (in favor of Israel).

The majority of the world is against Israel

People hate Jews.
Without the U.S Israel would burn and nobody would care. Nobody.

I wonder how Israel sustained itself for thousands of years without the USA? Geez what a foolish statement.

Furthermore, until 67, US didn't sell arms to Israel.

Indeed, all the Palestinian children I know skipped kindergarten to stand in line all day just to vote Hamas into power.

You can try to twist and degenerate this for all that you like, but Hamas had crushing majority in the elections, that makes the public a partner for Hamas policy.

You guys can take your anti-democracy vitriol somewhere else. Hamas was elected just like Obama and Hitler.

More like a simple plurality. Let me guess, you think W won by a landslide.

I WONDER if Isreal had been murdering Palestinians back then when Hamas rose to power.. and the people were so angry at Israel FOR BRINGING IN BULLDOZERS AND DESTROYING THEIR HOMES and the infrastructure and cutting off food and water supplies and medicine et al and murdering citizens .. YES.. Killing by soldiers under unjust circumstances is murder.. thank you very much

I get the impression you have been mislead to belive Hamas won by a landslide:

Final results show that Hamas won the election, with 74 seats to the ruling-Fatah's 45, providing Hamas with the majority of the 132 available seats and the ability to form a majority government on their own.

Of the Electoral Lists, Hamas received 44.45% and Fatah 41.43% and of the Electoral Districts, Hamas party candidates received 41.73% and Fatah party candidates received 36.96%.

No. Try reading it again.

I was responding to SamurAchzar thinking they had.

Try looking up the meaning of "plurality".

People hate muslims more than jews imo. I'm sure if anything happened to any of those arabic countries, nobody would give a shit either.

It's just more PC to talk down jews, anything said about a muslim is commended in the MSM.

Hopefully every Jihadi stands and fights like a man, so they can be turned into swiss cheese, and minimize the women and children casualites.

This is a rinse and repeat cycle. Same shit will be going on long after we're dead.

Not if the UN f's off and lets Israel do its duty.

The thing is, that a reasonable muslim or a reasonable jew, they can get along in almost any western country with little issue.

It's the whole region. I don't think it's so much hate as it is fatigue and indifference. All this petty back-and-forth bullshit gets old.

Hamas won an election but it isn't a government, it controls nothing. Hamas won because Fateh was corrupt. Israel controls the territories, an apartheid regime. This is a civil war with the State of Israel attacking it's own civilians.

The same has been debated by many many people against the US. If you think that the Palestinian civilians should not be immune to attacks because of their government, the same could be said about 9/11 and subsequent terrorist attacks versus the US and the civilians endorsing the current government.

I don't mind the argument, but there are two sides to the coin.

Hamas isn't a government, Israel is the controlling power in the territories. Israel is responsible for protecting the human and civil rights of the people under its rule. That the Palestinians chose Hamas over Fateh shows two things. First that Fateh sucked dog's balls and 2) Israel has been negligent in its duty to the Palestinians under its rule.

There are 15million Jews.

Jews are wealthy and educated.
They have the things most people don't

They are automatically hated for those reasons.
You will rarely find a poor/uneducated Jewish person. Maybe I'm being bias.

They were democratically elected to govern the Palestinian people and have government ties with countries in the Arab world.

Israel does not rule Palestine.

Note that we still have a small militant faction in our own region, some calling for the nuking of the entire Middle East. Now imagine if foreign powers had been playing divide in conquer across our homelands for the last century as has been done in the Middle East. Surely you can see how much larger and crueler our own militant faction would be?

Israel controls the borders, the economy, the water supply, electric utilities, the monetary system, etc of the territories. This is no different than claiming white South Africa didn't really control the townships. It is an apartheid regime and Israel is responsible for it.

Muslims inside Israel call themselves Israelis and don't want anything to do with the Palestinians.
