Meh, I never really liked the first one.. decent movie but nothing amazing as many people made it out to be.

Crap, I can't read.

That must have been a really quick reply if you didn't even have time to realize it was about the movie, what with the list of actors and all.

Thought the same. Had some good parts, Mickey Rourke was great as Marv, didn't care for many of the other characters. Effects were great but effects don't make a movie, just look at 300...yuck.

i feel that that was a movie that shoudln't have gotten a sequal, not that it was but, but that it felt concluded.

Not that I'm good at spelling or grammar, but that sentence needs better punctuation!!

Edit: scratch that it needs better everything lol

It felt like I was playing Bioshock or Max Payne when I watched it. It's one of those movies that catches your imagination if you let. I liked getting sucked into a world I could likely never think up in my head on my own.

Kind of like what Doom 3 should of been....

Well, as far as it not needing a sequel... those stories already existed in the comic before the movie came out, it's not like they just made up something to follow Sin City because it was successful. Besides which it isn't really a sequel, all of the stories are connected, but are for the most part self-contained.

Just saw it last night on TV (guessing OP did too;)). Overall, it was a pretty good "show" with the classic pointless Tarantino-esque (ya, I know the director knows/works with him) style. I'd watch it again, but the lack of a real "story" kills it slightly.

I thought Sin City 1 was pretty good, certainly entertaining... hope the 2nd one will be the same...

Actually, they've stated Frank Miller is writing an original story for the next movie (the other two are from the comic). It shows what happens to Jessica Alba's character, presumbably because they need her for T&A appeal, since her character wasn't interesting and she can't act for ****.
