Right. That is exactly what I would expect. Since the determining factor in GTA was who put the code there in the first place, I am sure this one will be rejected. There have been nude/porn patches for years. GTA was different because it was included as part of the game but disabled.
 
no wonder Tecmo sued ninjahacker.net when they showed mods to make the DOA girls nude

its pretty sad how the governemtn would intervene into video games when there are porn sites everywhere, unblocked and unfiltered and accessible by millions of american kids... if they wanted, they could just hit any pr0n site, would they get off of some pixelated nudity over hardcore pr0n? :Q
 
its not a code its a mod...

and if this flys he will go after any game that you can possibly get a nude skin for..

etc etc etc...

this country really needs to worry more about why the parents are allowing children to get to the items in the first place..
all the sims unblockers and nude skins are on adult sites..
GTA is rated M for 17+ only..
yet when I moonlighted at gamestop there were parents buying it for 7-16 year olds..

this defeats the rating system..

if this goes on it will kill the game industry becasue there is noway to protect programs from being altered by artists and other net savvy geeks out there...

and guys like this asshat will go after every one.

 
This is so stupid. What about people blowing each other away in CS? I think kids performing "headshots" is a lot worse than them seeing a naked body part.

I have *NO* doubts that this will get a ratings bump as well if it gets as far as the politicians. Why? Because the ESRB doesn't want to be replaced by a government agency. And this fscktard WILL get it that far.

I don't know what it's rated, but there is a hack to remove the censor bar for Leisure Suit Larry.

The way I look at it is:

1. If the publisher/designer did this intentionally, then they should pay the price.

2. If this is a mod and had nothing to do w/ the publisher/designer, then big fvcking deal.


As Wesley Willis would have said, these lawyers and politicians can "suck a male camel's dick."

I believe that LSL bar doesn't exist in the european "version" and was put there for the ESRB. What happens if you remove the bar in LSL?

You know... If you apply this line of thinking to FPS games, they should all be AO. You can re-program a lot in those evnironments. The whole "it's in the game, but covered up by code" is perfectly acceptable to me.

They should be evaluating the end product, not after-market mods.

Think if that "idea" applied to other things like cars. You know, blaming (suing) the original manufacturer for after market mods. "Well the car was built in a way to allow..." "See this windshield can easily be removed and when a metal sheet is put in it's place there is a MASSIVE blind spot on the car. Who can see through metal!?! Will someone think of the children!!!"

edit: "Well the headlights are built in a way they could be replaced with HID lights which were installed at a different angle. This blinded me and cause me to wreck"

you just see a little penis on larry, or you see a little vagina on the chicks. it actually shows it. but when that monkey is whacking off and its censored, when the bar is gone, he is just shaking his hand ... he's not actually doing anything more than that.

i have a modded xbox and patched the game to test this out.
 
Good grief this country of ours has some issues. GTA has people running around killing people and all kinds of other crimes. Do it get an AO rating for that? Hell no. Anything with sex though all of a sudden causes a big uproar. No wonder kids are going into their schools and shooting everyone. They're taught that violence is ok but sex is wrong.

Personally I'd rather see kids walking around with a package that has 12 condoms in it than a gun that has 12 bullets in it.

i love the bullsh!t politicians like him say. Tying our government wasting a ton of money all to put some thought into people's heads that not true.
 
I know this is mentioned countless times but why is nudity and sex in this country (USA) so taboo yet at the same time violence is accepted. For christ sake GTA:SA is all about commiting crimes, all kinds of them. That seems ok but a little sex and nudity and the whole world goes into a outrage.
