I guess I was in the minority... I didn't really find it all that funny. I thought they could have done a better job at poking fun at Apple

Why the hell would they cover water damage?

It was a pretty good episode...but it reminded me too much of Family Guy...and in the olden simpsons days, they NEVER mentioned pop culture crap...they were better then that.

have you watched old episodes of the simpsons...at all?

are you being sarcastic?

the old episodes are full of jokes that aren't really relevant today.

i'm definitely not defending FG either. I can't stand that show.
Simpsons pop culture references were actually intelligent and fit in with a PLOT of the show.

there was a whole episode based on the movie
Cape Fear
The "Shinning" Halloween episode.

From Krusty Gets Kancelled
Bart and Lisa are inspired by the photos of Krusty with famous
people.

Bart: I didn't know you knew Luke Perry.
Krusty: Pfft. Know him? He's my worthless half-brother.
Lisa: He's a big TV star.
Krusty: Yeah. [scoffing] On FOX.

It seemed every line in the past few seasons are related to some pop culture event....

AFAIK the main plot of the earlier episodes were about the family, each characters little issue...now it seems they have these corny one liners...

It's okay though, I will watch the Simpsons until they get canceled.
