Simpsons Feb 2

It's one hour tonight, but I don't think it is an hour long episode. Instead it may be two half hour shows like King of the Hill.

I highly doubt it is a 1 hour episode. It is probably '1 hour of the Simpsons', which is a normal episode, and an old one.

"The Strong Arms of the Ma", Episode #1404.
Marge retreats to the basement to lift weights after she is mugged.

Yeah, and the second episode is the repeat of when Marge gets breast implants by accident.

This episode DOES have a great quote:
Doctor: "What, is 'botch' the word of the day or something?"

I think the two episodes tonight cant compare to the older ones...and why was marge the focus on these? Usualy the good ones are when Homer and Bart are the focus.

The Godfather scene remake was pretty funny, basically a perfect replica. Tetris was amusing.

But yea, none too standout.

what was the godfather scene...i cant seem to remember it

i liked the twilight zone scene...

I thought it was really good, but the 3 scenes that stood out to me were already mentioned.

The tetris bit complete with music was great.
The Twilight Zone spoof of the mail man breaking his glasses was also great.
And the Marge as Sonny homage to the Godfather part was classic, something I would have expected in season 4. I actually had to bust out my Godfather DVD and watch that scene again to see how close they were.

Where else can you get a show that incorporates Tetris, Twilight Zone, and The Godfather all in one episode? And how many people could actually pick up on every reference? The Simpsons is still teaching us everything we need to know about American culture...
