I decided to change the topic of this thread because I don't want to make a new thread.

What are some cases that you can get fairly cheap, like under $75, that have that LianLi look? Like, squareish-simple.

Thanks for the replies guys. Can't really get anything special from the Hot Deals forum, LianLi seems to be religious against rebates ;)

Geez, can't find anything under $80 :Q

Well, if you find a used case that has been modded or damaged...Performance-pcs does sell panels ;)

check out eagletech / skyhawk stuff, some of it has the same look, or at least they used to.

The Thermaltake Matrix looks nice. And Directron has it for $45 + $10 shipping :) Is the 120mm fan it comes with any good? I mean quiet.

CM case fans are generally low and slow. I'd probably replace them with Yate Loons - SVC has them for $3. if you buy at least 2.

Sorry, old-timer's syndrome... Tt fans are usually notably louder than spec would lead you to believe. I'd also replace them with Y-Ls - replace the CMs because they don't push enough air, the Tts because they are noisy. Depending on your ears and cooling needs, they might be fine for you. But when you can get Y-Ls for $3.00...

http://www.eagletechcomputers.com/

I don't see any cases on there :(

Wrong site.

www.skyhawkusa.com is the proper site, though strangely all links off it goes through archive.org...

The best bet is their MSR-4600 series cases, which can be mistaken for Lian Li in looks. These have been sold for as cheap as $25 at Dealsonic though they have been OOS for almost the past year, and are $60 now.

No only the MSR series are worth looking at. Here's the link but as was noted above, they have been OOS for a long time and there is no prospect of their ever being otherwise. Here is a link though:
http://www.dealsonic.com/skmssi1alatx.html. But you want black, so that wouldn't do you any good anyways.

The Silverstone Temjin 4 (SST-TJ04) looks very good but it has a window but it's a bit over your price - $91. at the Egg or $89. at Directron.
