Simple Question

I have a problem with receiving pictures from my friend when he tries to send them to my phone and/or my e-mail. I can send him pictures just fine, but he is unable to send them to my phone. When he sends them to my e-mail, I get an attachment called mms. When I opened it with Wordpad, it displayed basic HTML, to which I found a link to go to www.axcessmypics.com.

Anyways, we are both on Alltel, but I am fairly sure we use different phones (Mine's a Nokia. Not sure what he uses). Either way, he has been able to successfully send pictures to his family without any problems.

Does anyone know why I am unable to receive pictures on my phone?

Does your phone support MMS messaging?

John, I was guessing, yes, because of this:

I can send him pictures just fine

but I guess it's possible that they are being sent by email or something.

Chaotic, I'm stumped. What Nokia are you using?

I am not entirely sure. I will check around and find the model I use.

If you remove the battery, it should list the model underneath next to the FCC ID number.

Well, I guess it does depend though. Technically, I can send people pictures with my iPhone but it goes through my gmail account I have set up. When my friends send me MMS messages, I gotta go to that viewmymessage.com site.

I finally got a picture today. No idea when he sent it, but I assume he was just doing it wrong.
