simple question, when i press PrintScreen to do screen capture where does that file go?

i want to know where to find that file. i captured some big error i got from UT but can't find it . is it in windows\system\ ? and would it be jpg or bmp format? thanx

it copies to the clipboard...go into an image program, even MS Paint...and just go Edit>Paste. If you have done any copying and pasting since, you have lost it.

Ahhh, hold on now. You said in UT? Does UT have a screen capture util built in?

You might want to check out what's available out there as far as screen capture utils are available. Windows ain't the greatest thing when it comes to NON Microsoft software screen captures.

BTW the clipboard is allocated space in the computers RAM (random acess memory)

dang i didnt know that... err i guess it's lost. nah i was running UT under OpenGL mode and it kicked me out to desktop after 5 mins of play with this long long errer list. (i think UT or Radeon's drviers didnt manage the texture correct and gave me error). it was so big that the whole error list filled my screen. (1024X768 by the way ) thanx guys

for c-strike (maybe it's same for UT) it makes a .bmp file in the game directory.
If you took the capture in-game that is.

If you did print screen button, it's in the clipboard and you could just open up a word doc and ctrl-v (paste) it there.
